Privacy Policy

Diesel Goose is a driver app operated by Mr. Pave LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@dieselgoose.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password, or the name and email Google shares with us if you sign in with Google. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see them.
- Profile information: the name, phone number and profile photo you choose to add.
- Work information: the routes and jobs a company assigns to you (addresses of plants, job sites and dump sites, dates and notes), and the status updates you make on each job, with the time of each update.
- Receipts: photos of receipts and tickets you add, with the type, amount, vendor, date and any job you link them to.
- Technical information: our hosting providers keep standard server logs, such as IP address, request time and error details, to run and secure the service.
Location
If you allow it, the app uses your phone's location to show where you are on the route map. Your location stays on your device: it is not stored, sent to us, or shared with anyone.
Camera and photos
The app uses the camera and your photo library only when you choose to photograph or attach a receipt, or set a profile photo. Only the photos you pick are uploaded.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To show you the routes and jobs assigned to you, and record your progress on them.
- To store your receipts so you and the company you worked for can keep track of expenses.
- To send account emails, such as confirming your email address.
- To provide support, fix problems and keep the service safe.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see your information
- Companies you drive for. A company can only send you jobs after it approves you. Approved companies can see your name, contact details and profile photo, the status of jobs they assigned you, and receipts you link to their jobs. You only see jobs assigned to you individually.
- Service providers that run the app for us, under agreements that limit their use of your data: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Render (app server), Google (Google sign-in, and maps on Android), Apple (maps on iPhone), Resend (account emails) and Cloudflare (this website).
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, profile photo, receipts and receipt photos. Companies may keep their own records of jobs you completed for them, as their business requires.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Your receipts and photos are stored privately, and access rules let each driver reach only their own data and the jobs assigned to them. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Diesel Goose is meant for working drivers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your name and photo in the app, turn off location, camera or photo access in your phone's settings, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information. Email us to make a request.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
